Transmission and Transfer Case Rebuilding
We do quite a bit of transmission and transfer case rebuilding. All rebuilds start with a trip through our automatic parts washer to remove any road grime and make for a cleaner tear down. Once everything is torn down parts are individually cleaned and the cases are media blasted, cleaned, and painted. From there we reassemble to factory specifications using high quality Japanese bearings and seals. If your Land Cruiser transmission or transfer case is leaking or giving you fits staying in gear we can help. We've done most generations of Cruiser trans from a few 3 speeds, a ton of H41 and H42 four speeds, H55F 5 speeds, all the way up to Tundra 6 speed manuals. Head Gasket Replacement
Mysterious coolant leak you just can't find? Overheating? Milky oil and steamy exhaust? You just may have been bitten by a head gasket failure. All head gasket jobs start with a careful tear down. Once the cylinder head is liberated from the block it's sent off to our machinist to be deep cleaned, pressure tested, checked for cracks and valve sealing, decked for flatness, and sent back to us. Once in our hands we start by replacing the valve stem seals and the pesky heater hose before putting it back on the block. We reassemble with all factory gaskets, clean and flow test the fuel injectors, and rewrap the injector harness where it passes by the EGR valve.
